As our new Business Development Representative, you’ll become part of our close-knit Academy team. We’re a team that works hard, celebrates successes together, shares knowledge, and — most importantly — enjoys working together. Your focus will be on the Software Technology service line, where you’ll help grow and fill our training programs in areas such as software development, cloud, AI, and modern software engineering.

How will you create value?

Your goal is simple: connect the right people with the right training. You’ll proactively connect with professionals and organizations, discover their challenges and development needs, and advise them on the training that best fits their ambitions.

You’ll be responsible for creating opportunities and filling our Software Technology training programs. You’ll use phone, email, LinkedIn, events, campaigns, and your own network to build relationships and generate business.
You won’t start from zero. Xebia Academy already has a strong brand, an extensive network, valuable content, events, and a great portfolio of training programs. At the same time, you’ll have plenty of freedom to develop your own approach, experiment with new ideas, and find new opportunities. You’ll work closely with our trainers and Software Technology experts, bringing their knowledge to the right people and organizations.

This is your Dream Job If?

✅ You have experience with closing deals and are passionate about Sales. (At least 2 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or a similar commercial role)
✅ You love connecting with people, picking up the phone, and turning conversations into opportunities.
✅ You are commercially driven and motivated by achieving results.
✅ You thrive in a dynamic environment where you can take ownership, try new things, and continuously improve your approach

✅ You speak fluent Dutch and English

Experience in IT, software, consultancy, or the training industry is a plus, but your commercial drive and personality matter most.
